Native to Indian subcontinent and Southeats Asia

A shrub, a small sized tree up to 43ft tall, flowers are pale green to yellow.


Ripe fruit is yellow, it is sweet but irritating to the throat.

It is a sacred tree in India. Bael contains tannins flavonoids, courmarins. Helps reduce inflammation, asthma, diarrhea, and can reduce blood sugar. Contains many vitamins and nutrients. Antioxidants help from ulsers, lactation, hair, liver, heart, blood, earaches and more.
