CLAIRALIENCE/CLAIRSCENT: Did you ever come across what seemed to be ghost scents and wonder what triggered them? If so, you may have clairscent skills (also known as clairalience), indicating that as they filter in from the spirit dimension, you are able to smell aromas. Often classified as clairalience, clairosmesis, clairolfaction, and clairessence, Clairscent is. This talent ensures that without using your nose, you have "clear smelling". It may sound odd, but fragrances or odors that come outside of the immediate world are simply the forces and sensations that your brain feels are odors. Depending on the situation you are in, there are many different ways that this psychic power can function. Recollections, divination, interaction with the spirit world, and more will cause them. The way you'll feel these aromas associated with them is what they have in common. Paranormal smells can range from a soothing scene, such as the scent of baked cookies wafting from your grandmother's kitchen, to the terror and paranoia associated with the smell of a hideous odor, such as sulfur, based on the situation. When you are in the company of an evil ghost or demonic spirit, the latter will occur. If you use your creativity creatively, by imagining aromas that are connected to the inventions you come up with, you can invoke your clarifying ability. You can also be influenced by scents that alert you of danger, or by performing ceremonial magic and divination, through which you attempt to learn items from the past, present, or future. Scents should be used in this situation to stimulate your latent psychic abilities. Here are several scents you may learn to recognize as you move along to help you brace yourself for some of the things you may feel while testing your clairscent abilities: Demonic Smells: The smell of demons is the worst kind of smell of otherworldly. It's sometimes referred to as decay, sulfur, or a skeleton. Some claim that even those afflicted by spirits give the scent away. It seems, though, to be houses and structures that have the most issues with this smell. Ghostly Odors: You can come across paranormal ghost smells. These often smell like the fragrance or other recognizable smells that a person often wears. Wet Dog: Certain pet owners have mentioned smelling a wet dog in areas frequently seen by their dead pets. Other Odd Smells: Try to think about what the scent means to you to discern what it might mean or the message it might hold if you encounter unusual smells that you believe might have otherworldly roots. If the scent doesn't have a personal sense for you, you may turn to research on the web or books that might have some insight.
